When I interviewed my dad about his childhood I didn't expect him to open up soo much. It made me look at him in a different perspective especially in the way that he talked about his mother. It was also nice to know how he was able to tell me how crazy it was to be living where he did at the time and what he had to do at the time. It made me think about how easy my life is compared to his

This was an interesting interview because it went deep into detail about my mothers career. I was comfortable asking these questions because she was honest. Somethings you could tell she was serious was when she talked about getting her degree at college while pregnant with my brother. She didn't give much detail, so I had to go further into each question. She hopes that people will enjoy this so thy can further a career into nursing. The interview took a little bit of time but nothing very long because she had short simple questions.
My interview experience was very interesting. While interviewing my grandma about her past immigration experience it was very comfortable. I already knew many things about my grandmothers travels. As I got more into the interview, I started to find out things that I have never known before. Even later into the interview, the tone dramatically changed. My grandmother started to talk about how when she first came here from Italy, she was 13 but put in a 3rd grade class because she didn't speak English. This, you could tell, was very demeaning for her. It was sad to see her upset. The interview ended with her saying if it wasn't for her family, she would not do it all over again.
When I interviewed my old chemistry teacher/ adviser I wasn't expecting her to be cool with everything I asked. She didn't hesitate to answer any questions mostly because she's generally a good person and has nothing bad to hide. When she was my adviser my friends and I would try to talk about her personal life she would usually just changed the topic. She inspires me to do good in life. During the interview, I found out things about her personal life and career that I didn't know before. I am glad I interviewed her because now I know her better.
When interviewing my Nana, she described many travel experiences in her life. The interview was very comfortable, and when she would get stuck on questions I told her we could go back. Most of her responses were short and not very detailed, therefore, I responded with follow up questions. I noticed that a lot of her trips were because my grandfather was traveling for business. Since she has traveled to so many places, I learned about her favorite trips and most memorable experiences. It was very interesting to know that she had the opportunity to travel the world.
I interviewed my cousin about him being a cop in Brooklyn. The experience was very cool the interview him about this topic especially with the recent cop events. He had some very interesting stories that I never heard before. He said he enjoys the job he chose and would recommend to others
I interviewed my co worker on her child hood as a foster kid. I expected the interview to be awkward and uncomfortable however it was not at all. After the first three questions the interview flowed into a comfortable conversation. I found out a lot about the obstacles she was faced with and how she found the ability to overcome them. To say the least, it was a very interesting expirence and I believe talking about her past helped her heal in many ways.
When I interviewed my mom about her career she answered every question in detail. It was nice to get to know more about what she does on a daily basis. I found a lot of what she had to say very interesting. I found out that teaching can be a very rewarding job both to the students and the teacher. My mom enjoys what she does and would not want any other career. The whole experience was interesting and gave insight into her job.
My interview with Coach Gorman taught me a lot about the interview process and the stratagem behind it. We had a fluent and smooth conversation, and he was able to answer every question I asked. None of my questions were too personal, so there was no awkwardness at any point during the interview. I learned a lot about his profession, and many of the philosophies he holds as a football coach. I'm happy the interview played out well, and that there were no issues throughout the process.
