The topic I chose was teens and guns. I chose this topic because I feel as though this is currently a very "hot topic". The sources I will research will be articles online about teenagers and guns. Many teenagers have access to guns and it is a very debated subject whether this should be allowed or not. Whether Teens should posses guns can also be a cultural view as well. I am very interesting in researching this topic.
The topic I chose was the Oklahoma City Bombing. I chose this topic because it is one of the most fatal acts of terrorism in the United States history. As a result of the horrific attack, the government began to take extra precautions to protect other federal buildings, while also increasing their security all over the nation. One can find information on the event by searching for online articles, videos, and photos that were documented during that time. In addition, one can research how the attack was carried out by finding newspaper articles with further information.
Since I just watched "Chelsea does Racism" im very intrigued by the use of satire. The new Netflix series involves Chelsea Handler discussing the most taboo topic of all, racism. I think it's important for comedians to touch on controversial subjects because it connects to a younger generation. Children and Teens are crucial to the future of society and should be presented with the issues we currently face. I'd like to research the effect satire has on young people, is it really effective? Does it do more harm then good? So far the reaction to "Chelsea Does Racism" has been overall positive. Viewers say the documentary is funny, entertaining, as well as enlightening.
The topic I chose is the France attacks in 2015 nobody could have ever expected that to happen in today's day in age there were a series of mass bombings and self suicides.. People blew them selves up in stores and stadiums the outcome of this horrific epidemic resulted in countries coming together to think of a solution #pray4france this was the deadliest attack on France since world war 2 I would like to research the effect this will have on the world but mostly Paris to see what they are going to do to prevent this in the future
The topic I chose is the San Bernardino shooting that took place on December 2, 2015.I chose this because it is the most recent of the terrorist attacks. I will research what caused this attack to happen and what the United States is planning to do to prevent this from happening again. These attacks are becoming way to common around the world. Something needs to be changed.
